Airbag Light on the WJ

So I've had this problem a LONNGG time. Airbag light was on when I bought it, but I got a good deal on it from a family friend who is a dealer blah blah blah. He put a new clock spring it at cost of the parts. Went of for about a month, then came back on. It would always come on and off randomly. Ca...

Yup both the 44a and 35 were c-clip. Either way I would steer clear and find a better axle.

http://i244.photobucket.com/albums/gg9/dmaine99/DSC00790.jpg They don't look bent to me ... The cylinders have a few nice little tick marks where they contacted the valves, but should be ok. There are 5 valves per cylinder and a double overhead cam on this thing which I found quite interestin...

I can just hear the gears turning in Matt's head haha. Actually it is not a manual. It is an auto with tiptronic. It is now currently in Charlottesville. I plan on pulling the head to check the valves over break and see what kind of damage if any there is.

Audi A4 Blown Engine?

My sister called me today looking for my advice and I thought I'd see what ya'll thought. She drives a 2003 Audi A4 which she recently wrecked into a deer and sank a few grand into fixing. Today she had the water pump freeze up which caused the timing belt to break. It has a 1.8L Turbo in it which i...

I've got a front waggy 44 I'll get rid of real cheap. Its been stripped down and repainted. Also took off the mounting brackets except for the leaf perches. It doesn't have axle shafts though. It was going to go into my Taco for a swap but I sold it.

Interested in the towhooks but don't really have the cash right now. Try posting stuff up on jeepforum or mallcrawlin and they'll be gone real quick if you need the money.

Just shows you how much simpler automobiles were back in the day. Theres now way you could do that with a vehicle now. My granddad told me he and some of his college buds for a joke on a friend who left town but didn't take his car took it apart and reassembled it in his room.

i just adjusted it an 1/8th of a turn. it felt like that was even a little much so i backed it a 1/6th of a turn. you are right you do not want it to bind, ie. the gears have to mesh and not sit flush kinda like setting pinion depth and backlash i suppose. steering feels tighter, and it seemed to em...

 So I'm frustrated. I decided to tighten the worm gear on the steering box. It helped take all the play that was in my steering wheel out which is awesome. However, I still heard a clunk in the steering. I got under to inspect things out and had a buddy turn my wheel. It looks like the clunk i...

Yeah tires were my seconded bet. I may just splurge and get new tires and an alignment as long as I get everything paid for school first. When I rotated my tires it seemed to help a lot. It may be that my home alignment job just isn't doing the trick and is causing my tires to wear poorly and the lo...
