I've read various conflicting things online with no actual resource or posted law number. I've also gotten about 4 different responses from 2 different cops and 2 different inspection st...

1984 Toyota Pickup - Blacksburg VA - $2500

My plan was to use this as my camping rig, I was planning on going to a milder lift like an OME eventually, but my job hours keep getting cut and now I need the money more than the rig. 1984 Toyota Pickup Drivetrain: 20R Engine runs super smooth and quiet G54 Transmission with forward shift t-case I...

Steel Supply

Where do you guys buy steel around here?

I'm looking to buy some square tube and plate for my flatbed build and am not having a great deal of luck locating a supplier in the area.

Thanks

Welding Classes

Hey Guys, Looking for some advice from anyone who's taken some welding classes at NRCC. I just bought a welder (Hobart 190) and want to learn how to run it. I figure I might as well take a class at NRCC since I am there some during the day anyway. I see that they have a welding fundamentals class, w...

Re: Welder Selection Help

So while shopping I'm a bit confused. It looks like the Hobart Handler 140 will weld everything from 24AWG to 1/4". It only needs a 115V Circuit. It costs $499.00 new at Northern with free shipping to my door. Set up for gas or flux-cored wire welding but wont run aluminum wire, not a problem i...

Re: Tail Lights

Yeah but I'm fairly certain Wranglers have multiple bulbs for each function rather than just one light.......

I'm gonna swing by the garage down the street today and ask the guy who does state inspections.

Tail Lights

Hey whats the VA Law on tail lights? My truck is set up to accept one 6" oval LED Trailer light on each side of the rear bumper. Can this one light function as the tail light/brake light and turn signal? Or do I need to run a separate light for a turn indicator? I need this to pass inspection. ...
