When the steering box went out on my '00 TJ I replaced it with one out of a Durango. Cost was on par, the box is slightly larger, supposed to be more heavy duty, and it is a direct bolt-on replacement. Was an easy swap and steering feels more solid.

cummins forum and tdr are good sites. Why do you need to know about that crap? You buying a new truck? I've started getting back in to reading on TDR, that's how I am learning how out of the loop I am. There was a good schematic on UREA that helped explain that system, I am trying to find something...
