I have submitted the cleanup report to VDoT and asked about the sign, I will let you know what I hear.

We WILL meet at 10 am at the North Main Food Lion and make a game time decision as to whether or not to postpone the cleanup. Please be there.

Friday April 22nd, 2016 at 10am, Adopt-A-Highway clean up of Sinking Creek Road

I am interested.

It went really well! We got something like 14 bags of trash on a 3 mile stretch of road. ALOT of beer cans and Johnny Bootlegger bottles. It was a good time and quite a rewarding experience if I do say so myself. We will be looking for a weekend to do another one here in the next few months.

Do we have any clue how long we'll be doing this or more importantly, what time we'd start? The more people we have the quicker it will go. I hope not more than a few hours. Same here, I will be coming back into town on Sunday. I'd like to be there but probably can't unless this starts after noon. ...

Just following up on this, did everyone who sent me their info get a card in the mail? If you did not please PM me.

Majority says Sunday December 6th will be our 1st AAH cleanup for Sinking Creek Road! I will be contacting the VDOT people on Monday 11/30 and making sure we get bags for trash and a temporary sign, hopefully it will say "Men Working" :lol2: I would like to know how many of those fancy ora...
