I stay in ocean hill, but the main road, Rt 12, continues right onto the beach. Its really cool. It can get crowded during the summer.

The Outerbanks up in corolla. Route 12 (I think) continues on the beach when the pavement ends. As you can see in the picture, lots of horses. Its a nice drive. The atv trails are fun to ride on.
