So the link I posted to is what I ended up going with. I got the front shaft out of an explorer and put the 8.8 u joint flange on it. I still need to get my hands on another u joint flange from an explorer/ranger slip yoke. A lot of my confusion stemmed from not understanding the part names of u joi...
