The more surface area the perch has with the springs the better. This should reduce the leverage on the springs and help a lot with axle wrap. I have always want...

Re: Has the forum been abandoned?
Haven't talked to the current leadership much. Will ask if they have decided not to use it. Would be a bit disappointing, leaving out a lot of members on the forum who aren't in school anymore. Re: Treehugger
Got ya I misunderstood. I looked at this at one point and most of the stuff I read recommended using marine battery switches. I never did install one though. https://www.waytekwire.com/item/44043/Battery-Selector-Master/?gclid=Cj0KCQjw5LbWBRDCARIsALAbcOcff2H1K0voA-qe-NejHmYWofYvG-fYU-4h-YJLltTRIbv7c...

Re: Treehugger
Terry look into the superwinch contactor aka albright solenoid. I retrofitted a warn with superwich stuff it was a lot cheaper and worked fine. Also try and put everything under the hood. It keeps everything out of the rain and snow salt mess. I did this on the 83 and I have had no issues with the o...
