2003 CR250 (good shape, with extras)

My buddy (who I live with) has a kid on the way and needs to sell his dirtbike. He raced it for 1 season in 2003, but his back (which has 3 rods in it) only let him race it for a few of the races that season. After that it went to putting around the backyard duty. Has been well maintained and starts...

we've got a massy ferguson at home as well its a TO-20 though. Looked at a TO-20 on the side of the road on the way to buy this tractor. Wanted 1/2 what I paid for the 135, but it looked like the owner had beat it up and then just spray painted the whole thing... Mowed a few acres after w...

Thanks. I'd been looking for a while since we just bought some property...my neighbor had told me that the 135/150/165 Massey's were real good tractors back in the day, so I was excited to find that one. Got a decent deal (I think) and the thing fires right off, so I really can't complain. Contempla...

Empty trailer from Hampton Roads area to Blacksburg.

I'll be hauling my trailer up sometime in the next few weekends and would be more than happy to haul something up to Blacksburg if anyone needs anything. Its a 16' tandem. I'd prefer not to haul a Suburban or anything since I'll be pulling it with a 1/2 ton, but I could do it for the right money, an...

Also with the welded spiders, the posi-lok will only "unlock" one shaft, leaving the other still directly connected to the driveshaft without any means of easing the binding like the factory differential helps with. I had thought about putting a selectable of some sort in my DD Jeep. I've...

Yeah yeah, 16" bar is what I have...if I had the money I'd have an 18" Dolmar saw for firewood and a 24" Stihl for fellin big stuff, but for now I make do. As to the front, that's my point, aren't welded spiders the same as a front locker? If so, then can't I just knock the axles out ...

A locker allows one side to spin faster than other if the other wheel is holding traction, as in a turn. I see where you have the Posi-Lok system, but that's still one wheel bound to the t-case solid if you weld it and the CV shafts on that side will have a constant load on them in 4wd. CV's are no...

I don't reckon I'll weld the front since I can't read anywhere where anyone thinks its a good idea, but explain how welded spiders are harder on CVs than a locked locker.

"Lift" in the rock-crawling, one wheel in the air sense, never. "Lift" as in one wheel half way over a log looking pretty sitting still, one wheel behind it digging a rut...far too often. Truck is getting more and more to be a 'for the property' vehicle (44 acres of low-lying woo...

Finally got the damned transfer case right and today riding out to my property every time I lifted off the throttle it would whine quite noticeably. Burp the throttle and it would go away. Another few miles and it got to where it was a whine/chatter on coasting. Called my buddy and told him to clear...

Sounds like someone didn't check the bearing clearances... Somebody drove through a puddle that was way too deep is my guess...paid little enough for it that I just assumed I needed a motor, but hoped I just needed a starter like the guy said. Turns out my assumption was dead on. I'm going to put h...

Anyone have a running (or close) 351 or 460 laying around?

If its a 351, I just need the short block...if 460, I'm gonna need everything you have and then some. Prefer EFI, but I can work with anything for the right price. Going in a late 80's F250. If 460, I can offer for trade a supposedly rebuilt 351W, headers, complete from motor mounts to intake with a...

It was definitely the transfer case...I've got forward and reverse back. Now I've just got to get back under there and fill the xfer case back up and tighten one of the two crossmember mount bolts (like its crossed, but I'm 99% sure it isn't, so I'm just steady cranking on it until I get tired). One...

Bought one off of a 1994 Suburban that a guy rolled Friday. Pulled it myself in the guys yard along with his front driveshaft (his front output was about 5 inches to a flange...my front output was just a yoke, but I figure the front driveshaft length overall is the same, so I got his shaft too.) I'l...
