I believe the running gear for a Jeep was designed by a Brit.

No no no, you got it all wrong.
Fords were designed by the Brits

Actually the Cobra has been one of the most trouble free cars I have ever had, over 110k and not had a wrench on it. I'm pretty sure the Brits nad NOTHING to do with that. It is however on the 6th set of tires, not sure why.

Still havn't been able to get over 60 in the driveway but the Lotus should fix that.
