need extra hands ... wrench night ... ALL night.

long story short ...

jetta = blown clutch / tranny / something ....

cant disengage the clutch.

i need as many hands as possible tonight .. all fawkin night.

headed to the bug shop right now for parts and then the tranny has to come out, get fixed, and go back in ... gotta work tomorrow.

anyone that is free, please help me out. im piss broke as always and spending another $500 to fix this isnt helping out my finances ...

everyone knows i am extremely appreciative of help .. but im broke, so i cant do beer / food like i usually do.

please please please ... help me out tonight.

can't engage clutch normally means blown clutch. my $.02

sorry I cant come help, but my bet is- spring popped out of the clutch and is wedged between the pressure plate and flywheel, that is assuming that you ruled out the hydraulics :roll:

i ruled out hydraulics on the basis that its cable driven :flipoff2:


clutch fork / clutch lever brokeded and skipped some splines ... didnt need to drop the tranny to fix it ... but i didnt figure it out till we spent all day dropping the trans :lol2:

gonna put it pack together in the next few days .... hollaratangr


thanks to henry, steiney, peter, leach, and dave (for driving out there to drop off some tools i just bought and didnt tell him about.)
