I am replacing the head gasket on my truck (22r) and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for a good place nearby to bring the head to be checked/remachined?

Thanks,
JP

Baldwin on Rt 11 towards Radford from Cburg is supposed to be good. Tsmall got a head on his BMW machined there i believe.

They are past the Dodge dealership on the left before the Triangle gas station.

I had a flywheel resurfaced at Baldwin. They're good to work with.

Another vote for Baldwin. Buddy had all the machine work done on his 440 there. Defintely good people to work with.

They charged me $45 to resurface the aluminum head on my BMW and that included washing it and removing/reinstalling a valve. I'll get everything I need done there from now on.
