I mounted the fixed end of my cylinder on the front inside neck of a u-bolt and just put another nut on top of it. The other end I welded 2 tabs to my tierod and went from there, worked great and only took a few minutes.

I have mine mounted to the axle tube where it meets the center section and to the tie rod (tie rod is in the stock location). The 8" stroke ram takes up the whole long side axle tube, if I used any longer tie rod ends it would not fit. If I had to do it again I'd use these tube clamps around the tie rod mount so I would not lose any adjustability in the tie rod.

I guess I will have to fabricate some type of tower to get the ram up to the height of the tie rod.

Thanks for the input.
