I'm new to Blacksburg and VT I just transferred here I have always been into wheeling mostly with jeeps since I got me license. Im 20 years old and my major is business management. Here is a picture of my old xj I never should have sold it but you know how that goes...
it was a 96 rustys 4.5" with 35s 8.25/30 with 4.56s etc.
I just bought a 2000 toyota 4runner about 2 weeks before school and put a toytec 3" with some bfg km2s. Hopefully I will be able to build it up some more. Pics before..
4runner looks good man. About all I'd add if you didn't already have one is a rear e-locker, maybe a set of sliders. Setup like that you could wheel just about everywhere the club goes, don't let the big built rigs in the club fool ya.
I have a '97 4runner on OME suspension with some pizza cutter all-terrains, it's my DD but I get it out in the woods some.
That's a good looking xj, sorry to hear its gone. You should do just fine with the runner though, we have a pretty big yoyo fan base here and they seem to do alright on the trail...

I wouldn't go so far as to suggest something ridiculous like that...I think they just all like going real slow with their quadruple transfer cases and mighty 4 cylinders..

Well I would take my old xj over my runner any day.
