another new guy
Hi guys, my name is George and I'm a junior transfer geology major at Radford this year, I just moved down here from the Winchester area, which some will probably be familiar with for Big Dogs at the Cove. Anyways, I have been pretty homesick for some trails down this ways and you guys seem like the people to talk to.
I wheel/dd a 1998 Infiniti Qx4 (leather-seated pathfinder) with a 2 inch coil lift and a set of 31" wrangler authority tires. Its not much of a rig, but it has impressed me quite a bit in the past year. I also have a 1992 Bronco sitting at home waiting for an engine swap.

Qx4 when I first got it
New tires
At my favorite trail at home, the pinnacle.
The Bronco
My brother also does some wheeling and has a pretty sick samurai, too many mods to list.
he recently upgraded to 38's so I don't have any pictures of those on it yet.
I look forward to meeting you all sometime!!!

thanks man, it actually does pretty well with the limitations it has, its a unibody like the xj's, but having an ifs does not help, the only lifts available are the 2 inch coils and a whole front end drop that isn't readily available. One day I'd like to build it up a bit more. With some chopping I could fit 33's, but since its a dd with horrendous fuel economy anyways I think I'll save up for the bronco rebuild.Matt612 wrote:Nice rig man. It sucks, the kit that was in development for a 2 inch drop in the front combined with the 2 inch coils never came to fruition in the market, only a handful of people have them, but 4 inches of lift with a 34-35" looks just plain mean. Can't wait to check out your pathy!shelby500krz wrote:Nismotr... I have your nissan counterpart, 01 Pathfinder and I face the same dilemma with the unibody and I have the same 2 inch lift kit.

for more info about that and pathfinder stuff in general.
This guy has 6.5 inches of lift (by doing a subframe drop) with 35's. Needless to say he had to do some trimming, but the whole process is pretty complicated and custom.
If you have the money and want more lift check out
