H1 Hummer Military Double Bead Lock tires and rims

Post by UNIMOG-GUY »

For pics see craigslist ad: http://blacksburg.craigslist.org/pts/4098678722.html

I have for sale:

8- 8 bolt rims and 36" tires 12.5R x 16.5LT (8x6.5 these will bolt directly on the 8 lug axles)

8- 12 bolt rims and 37" tires 12.5R x 16.5LT (8x6.5 these will bolt directly on the 8 lug axles)

8- 37"x12.5-R x 16.5LT tires only no rims.

$200 a piece for the 8 bolt rim and 36" tire (4 tire and rim minimum)
$250 a piece for the 12 bolt rim and 37" tire (4 tire and rim minimum)
$125 a piece for the 37" tires

These are the same tires and rims that the Humvees drive up and down the road on as well as go to war on every day. They wear like steel on the road but have a wide enough tread pattern to clean out well offroad.

Military H1 Hummer double bead-lock wheels are the most effective way to keep your tires on the rim. Conventional bead locks only lock the outside bead allowing the inside bead to be be removed at the most inopportune times. Hummer Bead-locks are a two piece design with either 8 or 12 bolts keeping the two halves together. These two halves sandwich a magnesium or a rubber 'run flat' between the inner tire beads against the lip of the rims capturing them and making a bead lock. This style of bead lock is truly the only DOT approved design allowed on the road way.
