called and spoke with church today

4x8 sheets of 3/16 are $100 a piece
1.75 .120 wall DOM - $3.22 per foot
He told me they don't have 1.75 .120 HREW they have 1.75 .095 HREW thats $1.30 per foot
2x2 .120 Square ERW is $44 for 24 ft piece
1.5 .120 wall DOM would be $2.85 per foot

Everything but the square tube comes in random sizes ranging from 17ft to 24ft

That's really not a bad price. Last time we ordered it was just really cheap. If you go back and look at the old orders, less than $3.50 a foot has been considered a pretty good price.

You should look at getting 1.5 .120 HREW, it is much cheaper.

Alec, that might work. I'm just using it for tube on the sliders I'm building. Would you recommend 1.5 or 1.75?

Also, how much do you think it will cost (I don't think we price checked it), and I know Wong asked, but did anybody confirm if we have access to a tube bender?

You should make sliders out of 1.75, pretty standard.

It has typically been at least a dollar per foot cheaper than DOM.

We do not have access to a bender, atm.

Kevin,

You didn't get a price on 1.5 .120 wall HREW.

Sam needs a price on 1 stick of 1.5 .25 wall DOM to replace what he used of mine.

Alright, thanks. I was just going off of shitty jeep forum DIY threads since I'm new to the whole fab stuff.

Kevin, I'll take 17ft or whatever the minimum they have of 1.75 .120 HREW. I wont need more than 15

You get what you get. The mill cuts them at random lengths and they charge accordingly. You don't know until you get it, typically around 20 feet.
