Sounds like a good plan. I drove my setup about 300 miles a week for two and a half years, traveling up 81 to work here for the week, then back home Thursday. I had a similar setup.

Front:
3.5" TJ TeraFlex coils (slightly higher spring rate than 4.5" XJ coils and netted around 4" lift.
JKS Track bar from Kevin's Offroad
Rough Country shocks
Bump stopped so I could go lock-to-lock with the wheel stuffed (verified without spring installed)
Brake hoses from a 90 Chevy C1500

Rear:
OME Heavy load leaf springs
Rubicon Express extended shackle
Rough Country shocks
Bump stopped so it didn't scrub too bad when stuffed
Can't remember what I did for the rear brake line right now.... :confused2:

This setup kept me low enough I never had driveline angle issues and kept the ride tolerable as far as the control arm angles went. I swapped my 3.08's for 3.55's and that did OK. It got decent fuel mileage and I never had a minutes trouble with it. If you browse the Jeep forums you can find good deals as others go bigger. That's where my coils and shackles came from. The track bar, shocks, and rear leaves I bought new.

This is where I get lucky, I've got 3.55s already so no re-gear necessary quite yet. What size tires were you running? That's kind of my setback rn. Would like to keep it at 4.5 and not cut body panels quite yet.

Once you get those fancy stiffeners on you'll be golden!

Run 33s. Always 33s. Haha. Idk if you will have to trim? Put 33s on my friends XJ with a couple inches left of lift and trimmed mainly to get rid o the rust,

XJWayne wrote: Mon Apr 16, 2018 11:37 am As of right now, I hold about a 75mph average from Blacksburg to Warrenton where I live, which is about 215 miles (3 1/2 hours). I also maintain a calculated fuel economy of about 14-16 mpg at 75. I am aware that those numbers will go down, but I don't want to kill them entirely.
I was always impressed that my 295hp V8 2004 Grand Cherokee will consistently get better MPG, by 2-3, then my 2004 Grand Cherokee with the 195hp Straight 6.
V8 19-22 mpg at 75-80

prob cause you run high test in a motor that doesn't need it. Increases fuel mileage and horsepower.
