I'm an idiot

Post by hklvette »

All this time I thought i had a C8.25 in the rear. After some more in-depth research, i've come to find out that i actually have a D35 . That is all.

Are the shafts too weak to handle an aussie locker without breaking? If not, i'll just stick with the 35.

wow, that's definitely good info to have. looks like i should talk to jim about an 8.8 i'll still pull the other 35, if for nothing more than the springs off it, and it'll buy me time to build up an 8.8

Not to cast aspersions on anyone but I have friends who could break an anvil with a ballpeen. My 93 Cobra at 110k has not had a wrench on it, original clutch/T5 but on the 6th set of tires.

If your gonna up grade, go one ton, don't waste the money on less. And take measurements on the axle you are buying instead of trying to eyeball if the housing is twisted.
