That and i figured it would be a good starting point for keeping the cage good and square. I also am kind of cutting it close for getting ready for Harlan so it saved me a bunch of time.

I need some opinions on how to brace the B pillar.

I put the tape like this because it provided better clearance for my head but I think it would be stronger if i did the actual bracing frome where the A pillar meets the B down to the middle of the harness bar instead. Also how would you guys brace under the harness bar?

I would go with what you have now over the other option. Running it to the middle of the harness bar leaves you with a dead node there with minimal options for support, other than continuing them on to make a full "X" (which would be the strongest option. That said if this option gives you the most headroom, go with it. A strong cage doesn't do that much good if you crack your head open on a bar. Either option will be sufficiently strong, I'd go with the one that is most comfortable.

Is your head not protected by the headrest on your seats? Even if the better part of your head sticks above the seat, if the seat fits in front of the bracing then your head shouldn't hit. Or I may be mis-interpreting what your saying. Or you might have a really big head. Like Will said the X would be the strongest but both should be sufficient. Either way looks like its coming along nicely.

If you have any plans on putting seats in I would consider either waiting till you get the seats or borrowing a seat to mock things up. Suspension seats fit quite a bit differently than regular seats.

He's got his suspension seats there, they were just mounted on adapter brackets and sliders before.

Still need to finish the passenger side D pillar, door bars, passenger roof bar, and a couple braces between the halo and the B pillar.

Well got the tires sold to Nick so currently the jeep is sitting on jackstands.

I made this little light bar thing when I was home the other weekend picking up the PBRS.

Well this has been an expensive week but I finally have an engine and have ordered all of my stuff to redo the suspension and start on the hydro steering. I bought that CPI 4.3 with the painless harness and the th400 with the dana 300 adapter. Current plan is to get the jeep back to roller status over spring break and then get everything swapped in and running once school lets out. To help with the th400/ dana 300 clearance I plan on running a two piece front driveshaft.
