just come closer to 2, I've got a 1220-110, then I'm grabbing some lunch with a buddy. I'm in collegiate, just go up N.main, left on to Patrick Henry at the light, make your first left (literally 30 yards after the light) make a left into the first parking lot, my xj or a lifted white one will be there. So N.Main LEFT LEFT LEFT can you handle that

Hey Randy... My transmission lines were crushed by the UCA when I bottomed out on the passenger side. I hacked them off at the back near the transmission and up front at the rubber hose section, then ran new trans. line up and over the engine mount so that no matter what the front axle did, they weren't going to get hit. If you plan on adding a trans cooler at some point, I highly recommend going this route, as it probably makes adding a cooler quite a bit easier.
edit: Bumpstops will defintely help you Chris only because you have a taller lift and you'll need when you get taller tires

Yea but I can use hockey pucks at $4 per side plus the cost of the bolt and I'm broke, I only have $100 in my account, so the cheaper the better. Now I will change them out later on for some real bumpstops but this will work for now.
i thought bumpstops were supposed to have at least some cushioning effect. all the hockey pucks ive seen were pretty friggin hard. IMO using hockey pucks would be no different than metal to metal contact.
Just don’t wheel it until you can come up with $25 for bump stops. If you don’t have enough $$ for bump stops, what are you doing to do when break something serious on the trail. It would take some serious mall crawlin to flex and hit your tranny lines again.
Yea I plan on keeping the wheeling to maybe 1 or 2 trips before the summer and I don't plan on pushing it to its limits. But when I get a job for the summer I will get some real bump stops and go wheeling more. But if anything bad breaks before the summer my dad said he would loan me the money to fix it.

cherokees come with rubber bumpstops, the cushioning effect is still there, the idea is to close the gap a bit and keep the tire out of the fender. Hockey pucks get used alot in the jeep world, weather its bumpstop extensions, a bodylift, or some other random use.
chris I just realized that I've been assuming you were talking about front bumpstops, if its the rear, your gonna be wanting square stock and longer bolts instead

ahh . i wasnt thinking about using them as "extensions."
Randy I could not find any hockey pucks in either blacksburg or c-burg so tomorrow is off. I could not even find anything that could be redneck rigged into a bumpstop. So I guess I am going to have to stop being a jew and buy some real bumpstops. Oh well, I was going to have to get some one day.
