And the last time they made it to a world series was?
and you are a fan of?

that's a prime example of how good the Yankees are, they have been in so many World Series that when they don't go to one for a whole four years people use that as an insult. Even though they have won almost as many as the rest of the AL combined and two and a half times as many as the next closest team. hmmmm... :flipoff2:

So then why cant cherocars open there doors when they get crossed up on an obstacle? And how much plating and bracing is need to attach roll cages, sliders, and such?

experiment:

find a spot to completely cross up your suspension (3 wheeling it).

find someone with a 4 door 89-95 (2nd gen) 4Runner.

find someone with a 4 door XJ.

cross up both suspensions.

open rear tail gate/lift gate of both vehicles.

close rear tail gate/lift gate of both vehicles.

here's your 'real-world' torsional stiffness comparison between BOF and unibody construction.

good luck getting the XJ's lift gate to close.

Ha, beat ya to it. Hey, we need to do an all Toyota run, so we dont have to take so much time towing the cherocars up the trails.

just cause the vehicle is well engineered doesnt mean it makes a bad driver a good one

All I know is Clay's yota is also a tow truck. Frames, motors, whatever, it pulls like a champ.

Matta fakt Clizzay we need to enter that beast into the tractor pull. What what.

I can vouch for the XJ's lack of torsional rigidity under flex, as i've opened the tailgate while flexed all the way out, and there was no way it was going to shut until i pulled out.

ass, I'm just gonna have to glue the toyota insignia to the front of my jeep I guess. At least when people ask me where to start with their xj build-up-wise, I say "sell it". I have what I have and do with it what I can
