This was an 1.25 Jonny Joint. It looks like it failed at the weld. not the forged one though

I already bought 16 grade 8 3/4 bolts, and all my tabs have 3/4 holes so i probably gonna go with the 7/8 rod ends.

Yeah, looks like cruiser style radius arms with JJ's instead of bushings.

So I ordered the 7/8 qa1 rod ends. 16 of them. Im using 2 inch .25 wall tubing for my links. Got 40 feet from steel services in Roanoke. Also cut some 1 1/2 pieces to drill out and tap for the rod ends to screw into. Now I got to figure out how long I got to make my links

I've seen people mock everything up with PVC pipe before cutting the final material to length. PVC's a lot cheaper to fuck up than 2" DOM

This thing is going to be massive. What kinda power plan you have planned and what kinda weight do you expect to end up with? 6K with gear?

I was hoping around 5k. Im going to chop the body behind the dash and have tubing from there back. Ive got a mopar 360 with a torqe flight 727 and an np205, Im looking into a klune v so I can have 4 to1 and 6 to1 low range. The axle have a 6.72 gear ratio so in 2 hi with the 48's I should still be able to go atleast 55

Been working on the high steer arms. I got one drilled right so far. The other one is scrap. They weigh 8 pounds each and are 14 inches long 1 inch thick.
I also got my rod ends in from Ballistic Fab, so Ive been trying to figure out my link lengths.
