Stock stuff lengthened/ shortened with conversion joints at the axles until this summer when I actually have time to make something heavier duty.

Got part of my Ruffstuff order in today. I've almost got everything to finish now, just waiting on a bunch of stuff for my links from ballistic.

Well since i'm waiting on a bunch of stuff and it doesn't look like i'll make it to Harlan unless there's a miracle I was thinking about redesigning my front suspension to a 3 link with panhard instead of the radius arm setup i was going to use for strictly for simplicity's sake. Do you guys think I'd be alright with bushings at the axle for my lowers like i was previously going to do? Since my order hasn't shipped yet I can upgrade to flex joints for like 5 dollars or something. The upper would have flex joints at both ends. I know a well designed 3 link will work a hundred times better than the radius set up i was going to use. Anyone have any thoughts?

Do it, its not really any more work for you other than some brackets on the axle and it eliminates the need for you to figure out monting the radius arms on the lowers. Also rubber bushings will work fine but will make lining everything up a little bit trickier unless all your joints sit at 0* misalignment at ride height.

Got my front towers in finally
Yea Will after doing some pirate researching i think i'm definitely gonna go with the three link setup. Doesn't look too hard as long as I keep my lowers as parallel to the ground as possible, and make the upper vertically adjustable. Looks like i'll probably be giving ballistic a call tomorrow to see if i can't get my ordered changed to include a couple weld on ballistic joints.

Well it looks like my build is gonna get a little twist. I found a 78 Ford Dana 60 for $350 obo. So it looks like I'll have to regear and lock it. If anyone knows anyone with a TJ or an XJ looking for a bolt in 44 let me know. Also he said the rear axle is a Dana 60, but it's out of an F350 so would this maybe be a Dana 70?

For that year F-350's, I believe they came with D60's front and rear.

Yea its really not worth getting the rear anyway where I already have mine regeared and with disc brakes and everything. You should buy my front axle, I'll give you a real good deal. I'm supposed to pick up that 60 this weekend now according to the guy.
