Just get the suspension done before you buy shocks. Once its done, measure what length shock you need.

Listen to him on this and don't let Cody help you measure or you may get shocks that don't fit.

Yup its not a problem. Set of 35's for sale in the for sale area, should probably pick those up for your project.

depends on how friendly you are with the sawzall
if the vehicle is registered in a state that doesnt have a fender flare law / doesnt care about their fender flare law (Tennessee, for example) then dont spend the money on extended flares. you can save some dough for the lift or the tires. lift it, wheel it, if it falls off on the trail then you dont need it.
my philisophy (read: ignorant excuse for ideas) is to keep the bitch as low as possible. find the tires you want to run, build the motor, drivetrain, and axles to handle the tires (if need be), then cut off any interfering sheetmetal (or in my case, leave it on the vehicle becuase you are too lazy / cheap to cut it off and let the tires clearence it when you flex :D )

Well here are my plans get the S-10 springs to lift it then measure and get my shocks then get a set of 33s i think it is a good place to start at and a good way to start learning about lift thanks everyone in heloing decide on what to do and btw would i be able to run the S-10 springs with my stock shocks until i could pick up new ones.

I cant say as I havent owned a Cherokee before, but I think the actual measurement of the tire (off a wheel) was a little less than 35 compared to Arys 33's on his Cruza. If you are interested in them shoot me a PM.

you should be able to run them on the street, but if you let the axle droop, the shocks are going to be the limiting factor, and that isnt ideal.
you will probably need to think about extending brake lines, axle vent lines, any electrical connections you might have, and your penis.
you will need to start thinking about driveline angles, too...
just food for thought.
just go ahead and buy leaches tires, you need them, you want them, and running 35s actually adds 1.24" to your overall penis length.

you will also want to think about trac-bars and steering....
