I think the cross member is for the lower links
I think you are correct. Nick will resort back to not commenting on things he knows nothing about. :flipoff2:

Tonight I got my frame halfway figured out. So far it looks like I'm going to have awesome clearance so long as the engine fits the way I think it will.

You're going to run a dana 300 right?

Lo-max is having a sale on their 4:1 gears :thumby:

Thanks I saw that, and was talking to Will about it yesterday. Yea I plan on running a dana 300 as soon as I can find one semi-local and not for $500. I'd been thinking about 4:1 but if I just keep the stock gearing I'll be able to go a little over 40mph at 5500 rpms in low range where as with the 4:1 I'd only be able to go around about 25mph. I think i need to drop the major coin and just get an atlas 4 speed

Well it's time to go back to school and still no running rig for me. So far this summer the only thing I really got done was finish the front frame work/ suspension and get the engine mocked up to make sure everything will clear.

It's gonna be able to be low as shit when I decide to set it up for crawling. This crappy picture still has 4 inches of shock shaft showing all the way around. Now I just need to tear into the rear suspension to make it match the front
