That's unfortunate. Terry can do them, but there was also a pre-existing local shop. Pride and Joy has done several sets of gears for the club over the years w/o issue, and they are on prices fork road.

I asked the guys at Price's fork to do it -- they pretty much refused. They said they were "Getting away from doing differential work."

I had fun in Charlotte anyway....but I'd rather support the locals.

Pride and Joy is way out in McCoy, not Prices Fork.

alright man, pull the axles out of the D44 and the knuckles if you are going to, pressure wash them both so i dont have to charge you for cleaning up. pull the 9 chunk out and wash it. spray them both inside w/ WD-40 and lemme know when i can come get em, i'll try to start them this week, tyler got me the wrong R&P for his D44 and i can push him back a few weeks to get yours done. my #'s (276)768-7711 if you need anything!

Pricing for anyone who's interested right now.

R&P set up $100
Locker install $50 (unless it involves a full locker $75 for that)
General Overhaul (new bearings/seals) $100

prices are for axles w/ shafts/knuckles/spindles (as the case may be) removed. the less i have to do, the less you pay. if i have to pull the axles/ect/ect then it'll cost more since it'll take more time. i can also build custom brake lines (metal) to help with custom installs. (see verticleTRX's front lines on the '79) also, the cleaner the better, dont like to have to scrape mud outta a diff housing
