I'm assuming it's kosher to weld your front fender and body to your frame like that?

Should be fine since he basically just hard mounted the whole body with the boat sides

It kinda defeats the purpose of poly or rubberbodys mounts/vibes isolation, but I wouldn't think that's really a concern. Originally mine used bushings everywhere, and then I got lazy and stopped using them for cage/fender/everything tie ins.

Boatsides look good. Are you going to weld that top seem where the plate meets the 2x4? What vendor did you get your seats from..I forgot to ask. I might get some nicer seats sometime in the next year

No, there is a gap from the 2x2 braces.

Pictures bitches:

Elected to setup the panhard bar behind the axle for packaging purposes. It fits up rather nicely IMO. I just have to insure that at full bump and articulation I don't crush my oil pan, but I should be fine.

Bought my friend Maxx's old steering setup. It was off a Jeep so I made a new pump mount and got rid of the A/C compressor, Ford pump, and mount assembly.

Will hooked me up with some new hubs

Powdercoated and painted diff cover and working on ram mount

Bending up B-pillar. Shoutout to Max for staying til 3:30 helping my handle the unwieldy bitch.

Thought this was a cool looking picture. Photocred: Max

I also did a few more things to my boatsides, cut out the rest of the cab floor so I could get to some weld area that I couldn't before, and ground down and redid several welds I was displeased with. Forgot to take pictures of all that. I'll snag some next time I'm out there. Thanks to Matt C. for wrenching with me hungover as shit and doing a good bit of welding yesterday.

Looking good man. Badass you got the b-pillar bent up. Out of curiosity how many feet of tube did it take for the b-pillar?
