Directions:
460 west to 42 east on your right.
Follow 42 east for 35 miles until you reach 311 at new castle.
Cross 311 and follow main st. for another .5 miles
Turn right on 615
Go 2.6 miles then bear left on 609
2.2 miles until you dead-end at 611, go left
3.2 miles and then right on 617

I don't have an exact number but follow 617 for about 6 miles, you will pass a sign for potts jeep trail, that is the exit, do not follow it. The pines campground will be on your left, that's where we are camping. We will plan to leave camp at 10 so those coming from bburg should leave there around 8.

Yep! I had an awesome time too! Even if it does mean I'm gonna be swamped with architecture work for the next week. I was once again impressed with what the ole TJ can do. Thanks to all the awesome help from all y'all I was able to push it further than I think I ever have and got some good experience on rocks (used to mud). And what's best of all, as far as I can tell so far, I didn't break anything (knock on wood!). Can't wait for the next ride and hopefully I'll have more time and get to camp out with y'all. I'm really psyched and hopin I'll be able to make the Harlan trip since that's right in my back yard. Might even be able to drag a few friends from back home along.

Say, I've got a bunch of pics from the trip. Where/how should I post these? I know in the non-public section, but which forum? I don't see where anyone has started a thread for pics...

Hey usually we post them in the Trail-Ride Section. Just make a thread called Potts 9/10-11 or something to that nature.

Another good Potts trip, I enjoyed it. I wish it wasn't such a drive for me or I'd make it up there more often.

Really glad you and Terry made it out, we don't get to wheel with you guys often enough.

Brett and Adam same to you guys :thumby: (though you both are a little closer and were able to drag you out more frequently :flipoff2: )
