I have a big trailer, and/or a little trailer if that helps. Had I caught this sooner, I would have got the dump truck emptied and inspected, but too late now. I'm supposed to be in Martinsville Sunday @ 8:00am. If what I am going after is there, I'll be back in time. If I have to hunt it down, who the hell knows when I'll get back.
If you will live like no one else now. You can live like no one else later.
I also had to come back early. Damage report:
-alternator needs to be cleaned
-rear springs are completely shot
-light rocker damage
-more passenger side front clip damage
-bent winch plate (going to be reinforced with d-ring mounts on each side in the future)
I couldn't make it up root hill today. I got up to the top and even with Matt pulling on me, couldn't get it over the top, but bent my winch plate in the process. In my estimation, any vehicle on 29s or less isn't going to make it up root hill unless its locked/locked. Ask anyone that was there, I wasn't short on momentum when I hit the top of the hill the last time, and still got hung up. I probably won't be running my rig until I can get all of the upgrades I want for it, so I'll be riding along from now until its all completed.

funny how the recap is more about the little bit of wheeling we did instead of all the cleanup. the stats on that were:
6 guys (me, Cody, Peter, Matt K., Grubb, Chris) and 2 truckloads of bottles, cans, and tires. we started down past all the mudholes where natl forest land starts, and grabbed mostly bottles and cans for the majority of the trail up to the fire circle. we got short on time so we skipped some trail at the fire circle end and spent the rest of the time hauling tires, and a shitload more bottles and cans from around the fire circle. Cody found a complete scout down about 200 yards from the fire circle in a ravine. I'm gonna talk to the FS about that and see if we can get a go-ahead to winch it up out of there. we also ran out of time/people to clean along the gravel road and to work on the scout frame near 460.

sorry i couldnt stay for the 'real' work today guys, but I had to get back and do some studying before my 5 oclock meeting. We should try and do another one of these soon, maybe on Hoags land, I noticed a ton of stuff off the side of the trail right past coal hill, as well as everywhere else.
