Finally finished up my trans mount monday. The entire drivetrain is actually raked forward cause the bellhousing pivots on the firewall to get the t case up above the frame rails. I didn't want to run a body lift or start cutting into the firewall so its going to stay where it is. My rear d-shaft should be long enough to alleviate any headaches with my output pointing upwards.

Yea I'll have to figure out something with the shifter cause right now it comes through the dash.
And yea Will I'm going to plate it for strength as well as keeping mud and dirt out of it. Need to get Steiny's torches filled so I have some heat to bend up some plate, I dont think I can hammer cold 3/16th's to form into that notch.

Hell yeah. I watched him and his ox fab up that 1/2" 300 lb skidplate in my driveway last semester.

Yea we hammered a new piece of tube through the frame rails. I decided I wasn't going to replace a bent frame with another bent frame
