That forklift sucks dick lol, that Hyster was the first piece of "equipment" I ever ran there. You work with Hemmingway Salvage too? Yea maybe Monday then, may be able to give you a quick tour if its not too hectic, they just gave me my work truck back.

If I get them Monday, I could be done with them Monday night. Its really only like 4 holes I need to make. I can just borrow AOI's if it will make things easier, its no big deal, I need to go up there anyway to bend some more tube.

If you can take care of it at AOI that sounds like it would work out the best. I was planning on working on a bunch of stuff up at Tim's shop where he has a set, but it turns out he doesn't have enough room for me.

I've spent a ton of time workin on the jeep since friday. Started friday morning at like 11 and went until 2am, then went saturday from 9am til about 3am, sunday 11pm til 2am, and last night 5pm til 4am. All said and done i'm exhausted, but its a roller.

I finished up the rear frame and made the rear bumper. Jake helped me out saturday night and we got the union of the the two frames plated. So for now the frame is done except for the cage tie-ins back there.

I discovered that when I had built my lower crossmember and welded the tabs on, they weren't angled out enough and since creepers joints suck they didn't have enough mis-alignment to reach my lower mounts on the axle unless I brought those way in, which I didn't want to do. So they got cut off and mounted further apart on the crossmember. After looking at that I didn't like them so spread and after running some numbers it gave me a fair amount of roll oversteer, so off they came again. I ended up plating the inside tab a little further out and they will work now, i plan to switch to heims though eventually.

Got the final lengths for the links and welded them up and did all the final welding/painting on the axle and truss. I still need to swap out the hubs but its rolling on the C&C hubs right now and is at its final wheelbase.

There's probably a fair amount I'm forgetting

• Upper shock mounts
• Axle shock mounts ordered
• Press rotors onto hubs
• Setup brakes/weld caliper bracket ordered brackets
• Run nylon brake line (cutting brake?) Ordered lines
• Bleed brakes
• Install t-case flange
• Figure out 14 bolt yoke
• Measure for driveshaft
• Shorten/rebuild driveshaft
• Notch/remove frame for upper clearance
• Cage tie ins
• Finish truss
• Bumpstops (air bumps?)
• Figure out springs some on the way
• Rebuild shock
• Limiting strap
• Redo exhaust
• Redo floor
• Additional cage bracing
• Install 14 bolt diff cover and pinion guard
• Install 14 bolt locker
• Do something about tires/rims

danggg, that list is rather daunting. is the rims tire part mean you havent decide what you running yet or what?

Lemme know how those nylon brake lines go for you and how they last. Thinking about doing those on my truck.

edit: are you using them for all your wheel brakes or just cutting brakes?

correct. I'm thinking 39 inch red labels, but I'm also thinking about 40 ltbs or 42 rockers. The latter two are a bit pricier obviously because I would likely be buying them new rather than my buddies used reds. It will all depend on my financial standing, which isnt looking good haha

hahaha, looks like we have similar situations :lol2:

i think the reds would be pretty sweet, ud deff be more unique running those puppies. Let me know when u go home, Id like to go with and help u work if thats cool with you

For the time being they are just going to be for the rear brakes, but will go all the way back from the master cylinder. I'm not sure I'm going to put in cutting brakes quite yet because at the moment they wont do me much good. For them to be effective I either have to run an ARB in the rear or a detroit with a twin stick case, neither of which are in the budget right now. I will probably just run the lines separate right not straight back and then splice in the cutting brake when it would be useful.
