Matt, the flares are Notch Custom. I was a little worried because they are fiberglass, but they are seem to be really tough compared to other fiber glass flares I have seen. They went on pretty easily took some time to get it right but no complaints so far.

The flares mount by several studs fiber-glassed on the inside. I think there were 7 on the front flares and 3-4 on each of the rear pieces. On the front they had me fold the cut panel up to make tabs for the flares to sit on.

Bummer it didn't make it back. You and Sam need to finish it quick so you can take it wheeling and bust it up

Side note: Notch Customs bought all the Iceland Flare Molds when they went under.
Little more info: I've seen posts from mid 2010 where they have had issues with orders, etc. it seems like late 2012 is when people started to come together in saying that Iceland was bust. Plus they had ridiculous wait times towards the end. (4+ months). I guess when Notch popped up, people realized it was essentially the same thing, and from what I read, it is.

Good side note Michael, I thought they looked like Iceland offroad... I didn't know they folded. I've never seen a set in person just pictures, they look tough as nails though.

Alec the jeep made it to Tech. And it did great on the trip to Rausch.
I haven't posted anything recently, but here are some pictures from later in the build and the trip.
