So I'm getting some vibration (shaking, not too bad) at around 35 mph with the TSL's. I've removed the stock front sway bar and there is no steering stabilizer. I've lifted the front with superlift radius arms and drop brackets, and Deaver coils. I've installed a new dropped pitman arm, inner and outer tie rods and drag link. Computer alignment. New ball joints, wheel bearings etc. Any thoughts?

How did you balance the tires? You might try steel shot.

I get the same thing around 40mph. For me its definitely in the tires and I cant get rid of it. Tried internal balancing in small increments and I am now up to 18oz per tire with no positive or negative effects. So I have given up for now the best solution for me is either radial tires or hydro assist.

i get a little shake @ 37-40 mph, running bias iroks, balanced with 16oz of airsoft pellets per tire. every other speed is fine, tho. it's probably your tires, and not that big of a deal as long as everything (steering & suspension wise) is torqued to spec and double checked.

Brett, the magic number for Q78's is right around 8oz of internal weight per tire, I'm using steel BB's. I tried more weight and less weight, and both had ill effects. With less weight it didn't do anything, with too much weight it got a hard shake around 20-30mph. It seems as though with swampers there's always some vibration at certain speeds. My tires are bad from 45-50mph, so I just don't drive the speeds that make them vibrate.

Thanks for the input. I've rechecked suspension and steering torque specs. Everything was good. Its the nature of the beast I guess.

Yea just go faster or slower than the vibration speed.
