so long as you're mounting it to the axle housing it should not make a significant difference. I was saying that running the stabalizer to the vehicle frame rather than to the axle housing would be the wrong way to do it.

Actually, drag link to frame is a perfectly acceptable method of mounting a stabilizer. All 70's model full-size Fords are done this way and it seems to work well, it gets the stabilizer up higher out of harms way. Mounting it in this location will not serve as as much of a band aid if there is any play in the drag link however.

oh oh oh ... well why didnt you say that ... im not retarded enough to mount it to the frame ... thats a great way to bent the frame even mroe than it already is
and anyway ... axle housing to the drag link is seriously the only possible way to mount it on my setup ... not enough clearance for the tierod.

Matt, the reason I say mounting it to the frame is bad is because this orientation will not help with the most common cause of death wobble- lateral oscillation of the axle relative to the frame. If the stablizer runs to the frame and the axle gets knocked sideways, the stablizer will do nothing to prevent the axle from steering itself the opposite way and starting deathwobble. When the stabalizer is mounted to the axle and the axle takes a lateral hit, the stabalizer will fight to keep the wheels from turning as the axle moves to the side and instead, pull the steering wheel to that side... less likely to get death wobble started this way.
It's not the easiest thing to describe in words.... sorry.

I'd say this would fix your death wobble.

Only bad thing is, you'd have more invested in axles than the rest of your Jeep it worth.
