There is a guy that has a new frame for my truck that he'll GIVE me if I can get there this week. Its in Henderson NC 27537. Is there anyone that can go there and pick it up for me? I don't think I'll be able to get off work to go, but I'll pay for someone to go. It has no rear axle, so you could just strap wood blocks on the back of the frame and slide it. I also need somewhere to put the frame for a month or 2 until I can do the swap from the one its on now. I promise it won't be anywhere past july, or I'll take it to the scrap yard. Is anyone willing to help me out?

I'll be going down to Raleigh thursday afternoon and coming back sunday. Henderson does not look like too bad of a detour on the return trip (+75 miles maybe).
If you can secure a trailer for that time span, I think I know a place or two around Raleigh that I can store the trailer from Thursday to Sunday. We can talk about what it will cost.
PS- Didn't you already sell your tires for that project??

I want it pretty bad, but I can't afford to drop a lot of cash getting it. Its free and it would revive my truck build.
I did sell my tires, but I decided 38.5's were too big anyway. I had already planned to sell them and get 36's. I still need a place to put it for a while if I get it.
Anyone have a trailer they can let me use?

I figure having the trailer and then the truck behind me is going to burn an extra 15-20 gallons of gas round trip. That's the majority of your cost. Where is your truck being stored now?

sheila's friend david's place in cburg. I don't want to ask him to take this too. I'm pretty sure he wouldn't. I was thinking of asking cody and giving him some funds.

I've said it again and again. Sell ALL of your truck related stuff and buy a good running '78-79 Ford. A frame swap with SAS and all the other stuff you want to do will take alot of time and money, more than you think. I'll still help you with the SAS and so forth, but I really think that if you just cut your losses and get something else you'll be much better off.
Buy a '78-79 F-150 for $1500, add the 35's off your white truck, hack the fenders, throw in a $35 mini-spool and your off wheeling. All this could be done for under $2000, and in a matter of days, not months like your current build.
