I have a 84 CJ-7 that I am parting out. If anyone needs anything let me know.
tkready@vt.edu
It has a 4.2 258 in it (which runs, but the head gasket is starting to go)
Carter Carburator which works great (for a carter)
T-5 Transmission (in working condition)
Dana 300 Transfer Case (SOLD)
Dana 30 front axle
AMC 20 rear axle
New Water pump for the 258
New Starter
New Belts
It still has most of the parts on it, if you can think of anything you might need or want email or call me at 540-641-2870

What kind of shape is the body in? How much do you want for the whole Jeep? Or, if you'd rather part it out, how much for the body (tub, fenders, windshield)?

I am going to keep the frame and body tub (everything else can go) and rebuild from the ground up. I have a very stout front bumper on it. Just let me know what your looking for and I can send pictures and prices, Will trade for anything that I can use on my 98 TJ.

How much are you looking to get for the Dana 300?

I am looking to get $150 for it. It works, no poblems with it when the Jeep was running. I can take it out this weekend if someone wants it.

Are the parts located in Bedford or somewhere else?

Everything is here in Bedford, I am about 10 minutes from the Thaxton Market.

It is the 6-bolt Jeep pattern with the long tail shaft, right?

Not sure, it is from a stock 84 CJ. Anything I can look for on it to ID it?

Here is a picture of the short and long tail shafts side by side (borrowed from JB Conversions website):
More than likely with it being a stock 84 CJ it shoud use the standard 6-bolt circular Jeep pattern to mate to the transmission and have a long tail shaft. If that is the case I could arrange ot pick it up towards the end of next week if that worked for you, possibly Thursday evening.

That will work for me, I will go check it out and see if it has the long tail shaft on it. Give me a call @ 540-641-2870 and we can talk about a pick up time.
