Hi everyone. 18 year old jeep guy from New Hampshire here.
I start at Virginia Tech in the fall for Mechanical (or General) engineering.
I'm usually over on
www.jeepforum.com where shmoken875 sent me an email inviting me to check out your club.
I'd really like to get involved, and decided I'm going to be trailering my jeep down (I would miss it too much otherwise :) )
As far as experience goes, i have replaced about half of the parts on my rig, thanks to my dads expertise (he used to build racecars). but lately I have learned to weld, and am doing more and more custom mods.
I have done lots of small group rides locally, and one large one with about 20 rigs. But i would really like to become part of a more serious organization.
I have a yellow 86 cj-7 with a 2" lift and 31's (soon to be 32's) by the way.
how do I get involved?
I will be down at Tech for orientation on the 23rd if that makes a difference.
I look forward to getting to know everyone on the board.
-Justin

And we have some that don't keep a rig long enough to even wheel it.

Don't worry if you dont get some new tires before you come down, you can always get a pull by someone if you get stuck.
