Clutch fork boke yesterday, luckly close to my parents house. Had to have my father tow me back. Looks like a be putting a nice southbend CON O in. I wanted to do a new clutch just not yet. Stock setup the, clutch springs and fork are the weak link and usually go well before the clutch is worn. With 195K id say im happy with the life its had. Bad part is I wont be able to afford a $700 clutch for a bit so the truck is staying MD.

Looks like 32's back on the yota for a DD :confused2:

That sucks man! At least you were close to home and not at Uwharrie when it happened!

Let me know if you need anything.

Yup, the '99 PSD that I was towing with broke a clutch fork a couple years back, about 150K on it. It seems to be a weak point on these trucks.

ok now im getting pissed...what I have tried on the 22R

plugs
wires
fuel filter
fuel pump
fuel pickup
new tank (old one was rusted)
adjusted float level
cleaned carb
blew threw all fuel lines
checked compression

Truck acts like it runs out of gas. Right now its fine untill I hit the top of 2nd or hit 3rd, then it buck studders stalls ect. Sometimes its better sometimes its worse.

Any ideas?

Does it have anything to do with how long the truck has been running? ie could it be vaporlock? Not sure where the fuel lines run in relation to the exhaust on those trucks.

Edit: Although I guess that wouldn't be a new problem...

thank for the thought........

its fixed, found the fuel line between the pickup and filter was deteriorated and comming apart from the inside. The line that was on there didnt look like it was for fuel, prolly why it rotted. I knew it was going to be something stupid. I happy its runnning like it used to!
