Wow, I'm more amazed they were surprised by that than it happening. Its why I do my own service!

Heck, when I use a shop for something, I am usually just happy if my car comes back without more crap broken on it then when it got there. 
EDIT: You guys would probably be amazed (maybe not) at how many of the non chain shops around here are crooked.

HA! I worked at Advance Auto in B-Burg. I wouldn't take my car to ANY shop in this area!

McCoy's Auto Repair down McCoy rd. has always treated me right. I know the owner pretty well. Only problem is they usually won't give you an estimate before doing work. I use a shop very rarely, but when I do they are the ones that I go to.
