Hello everyone, great info on this site and some of the others as well. I hope to benefit from it as well as being able to offer info and help.
I have been going to some trails on a regular basis up in the Craig Co area. Stone Coal, Potts Mountain....which I see is greatly discussed in forums, and Lignite, which, surprisingly, I have seen much info on. I find it to be just a very entertaining trail. Not much in way of challenges, but because of water erosion, different every time I go. I also frequent some of the roads that go thru Craigs Creek (river at times), it's great place to wash of the Yota after muddin' it up on Lignite....LOL
I have read some things on Bobcat Trail, but I can't find any info as to where it is, and if it's still open. Can anyone help me with that info? Also, I'm interested in finding new trails similar to Potts Mtn, and Lignite. I live in Roanoke, so I'm looking for things within 30-60 minutes away. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
