M1008 parts trade?
I would trade you for a parts truck M1008 with...
wheels/tires (40-65%)
steering collum
almost all interior, torn seat, all gauges, gun holders
seatbelts
dash
fuel tank
radiator
rear shaft/front shaft maybe too if I don't need
fenders(rusty)
no doors/hood no motor no axles no t-case
trans 86k miles, perfect
cab
frame
windshield and rear cab glass

for your Jeep

could throw in a set of 35" all terrain type tires on 8 lug rims if you include the top/doors/spare parts with the jeep (they'd keep your rpms down on the cucv quite a bit.....)

Zach,

If someone doesn't buy it before I get back from King of the Hammers, I'm going to start parting it out. You have first dibs on those parts. One of the guys who came to look at it the other day wants the factory tilt steering.

First off since you know where it is go take a look at it.

The answers to your questions are as follows...

It is a factory 2 barrel carb.

No I didn't rebuild the axles as they didn't need it at the time of install.

The frame is in great condition.

The motor has 37,000 original miles on it (so it isn't in need of a rebuild).

The tranny and transfer case haven't every been rebuilt.

You would need to have the exhaust run.

First $1,000 takes it. The 3 tops alone are worth the asking price.

Some guy in Bassett Va.

I called another guy who was suppose to come up and look at it the following day and tell him not to come since it sold. I was trying to be courteous and save him a unnessacesary trip. He started cussing me out saying I couldn't keep my word and I wasn't worth a $hit because I can't keep my word. Probably didn't help that I was laughing out loud while he was cussing me out.

So now I'm down to just the Silver Mog and the CUCV since I sold the red Mog to a guy who drove up from Tampa last month.
