I didn't know you could register guns with the local PD.

you can register guns through any PD in Tennessee and many other states ... i assume it is the same for Va ...

EDIT: surfing the Va state police site, there is no registration necessary for any weapon that is semi automatic ...

so disregard that ... rofl
