After the recent events there have been a few people mention roll cages so I thought I would post up some of the information I have gathered. This is by no means the end all list for cage tech just some of the stuff I have found helpful. Some of the information is directly related to toyotas but can be applied elsewhere. If you have any good tech you want to add please do so.

Excellent post. Been looking for good ideas for an exo cage for my buildup. Wish I had the money to do one. I think I will talk to someone who builds racing cages because I don't know enough to trust a cage I build myself.

either work with the guys on the forum, or look @ s&w cages, pretty decent cages and they have cages for just about anything for a good price.

Eventhough they may seem kind of flimsy the Marlin Crawler and Allprofoffroad cages do a good job. There is a thread on pirate showing how well they hold up after a roll and they did suprisingly well. If I can find the thread I will post it up. Also the Marlin Cages are on sale now.

Threads added.

A little info on mitering instead of bending the tube. I think there are some areas this could be used to make the design easier and more efficient with space. Wish I had seen this earlier.
