You could try to find a Rubicon D44 in a junk yard or a HP30 from a XJ or ZJ. Other than that, aftermarket stuff will be your only other options unless you feel like welding on your own brackets and stuff. If you don't mind doing that (I think rubicon express sells a bracket set) you could try to score a D44/9in combo from a 78-79 F-150 and swap those in.

Keep in mind that just about anything you swap in would need to be re-geared. Terry hit it on the head with the HP30/ Rubi 44. The 30 will likely be much cheaper than the 44.

yea i understand that most will have to be regeared and im looking to find something that wont have to be. i found a mopar 44 that bolts right in with whatever gears for a great price but i was wondering if any one had any problems with the reman mopar parts. or if anyone has done any business with GearWorks

what all do you need to replace??? you can get NOS (New Old Stock) parts for pretty cheap ... if you just need the housing and you can reuse your outters, shafts, gears etc ...
try this ...

factory dana44 front axle housing $799 + shipping + your parts ... housing only, no knuckles so you would have to swap yours over

Yeah, but it'll be a little while. I'm not going to do any more gearing till after I get moved. I've got school and moving to focus on right now. If you want to do something after I get moved, just let me know.
