I have a 90 model toyota its throwing a check engine code 25 Air Fuel Ratio is lean and It takes a spell by not starting even if I drive dwn the road shut it off it wont start back and sometimes it will..I got it started one time by roll starting it but it took it a while to start back and one time by holding that flapper open on the air box..so I replaced that whole unit still didnt fix it..Its getting fuel and spark when it wont start so anybody have any ideas..Thanks alot

O2 sensor & catalytic converter would be my first checks. also, find a long hill, run it at 3500 rpms WOT for a while (30 sec or so), and listen for any pinging - you may be getting good fuel & spark at idle or under low load, but when the injectors dump near 100% duty, they might be just dribbling. especially with a high milage engine.
also maybe check that the cold start injector is functioning (and not leaking down, as it'll cause the ecm to adjust lean), and that the TPS isn't gummed up either.

I was thinking the 02 is there anyway 2 ohm it out or chek the 02? well I ohm the cold start injector out like u suposed to do even unhooked it didnt change anything...but why would the truck just die?
