I met a guy in CCVT that owns and operates a small decal / sticker / vinyl wrap shop out in radford and i inquired about the hood decals we joke about every now and then.

here is the reply i got.

For a 24" graphic the price will be $24 each. 30" is $43.75 each. My partner Jake is saying 36" is too big for the hood of a jeep. We've done a hood graphic for a friend's jeep and he claims it was under 30" to avoid hood hooks and other trim pieces. If you want us to put the graphic on it adds a little more but we can explain the best way to put it on without wrinkling it if you need help.

the reason for the price jump after 24" is that they only buy 24" rolls of vinyl ... so anything over 24" would be a 2 piece design with a barely noticeable seam down the middle.

i am going to get 2 24" stickers for the jetta (stieny said the club would pay for it .... right stieny???)

I want one, but I know that the day that I put a decal on my hood, it will get smashed since it's the last straight panel on the truck.

Seriously though, these prices are much better than the last quote I saw a while ago (from Hutch's friend I think).

i think im going to go for 2 x 24" decals ... one for the nazi-mobile ... and one for the jeep

and im getting one in white, and one in the most annoying bright green they offer

Is it just like the current sticker or is the vinyl cutout type where it will only be the letters and picture left on your hook without the background

it will be cut out ... no background.
