Summer job opportunity with the NFS

SUMMER JOBS OPPORTUNITIES: U.S. Forest Service, Eastern Divide Ranger District, George Washington and Jefferson National Forest are seeking individuals for Wildlife Technicians, Trail Crew, and Recreation/Construction Crew. Duty station: Blacksburg or New Castle. Pay rate: $10.31 per hour. Duration: May 11 – August 14.
Wildlife Technician: Two positions available. These jobs will entail maintaining wildlife fields, repairing gates, and eradicating nonnative species. Employees will report to work in Blacksburg.
Trail Crew: Two positions available. These jobs will consist of carrying out basic trail construction and maintenance. Employees will report to work in Blacksburg.
Recreation/Construction Crew: Five positions available, 3 in New Castle and 2 in Blacksburg. These positions will be working in developed recreation sites assisting in construction of new recreational facilities and reconstruction of older facilities. These jobs will report to work in New Castle or Blacksburg.
In addition to the above work, summer staff will occasionally be cleaning and maintaining recreation facilities; providing information to visitors, and perform other duties as assigned. Tour of duty will consist of some weekend work. i was posting this after class and was thoroughly brain dead...
