I just got my transfer to VT (completed Freshman year at VCU) and knew that some of you guys go there. Figured I'd drop a line and say hi. I've posted here once before but it didn't get much attention, heh. I ran into a guy named Leach on the PBB and he told me about this club. Anyway, I've got a 94yj, 2.5, 60/44, 38's. I don't know what I'm going to be doing for housing yet, probably and apartment or something somewhere near campus. My parents are talking about getting a place and remodeling it, and then renting it out later (they are remodelers so it makes sense). I'll hopefully be bringing my Jeep with me, so maybe I'll get a chance to wheel some with you guys. Anyway, heres some pics, cuz everyone loves looking at cool pictures.

Hey man, yea sorry about lack of posting in your last thread, the forum doesnt always get hit very often. But glad to hear that you are coming down, it'll be nice to have another built rig in the area, as soon as ya get it down here post up and we'll bring ya out to the local trails. Nothing too crazy but it'll put ya on its side in more ways than one.
And yea, I have been looking into buying a house and redoing it as well (construction major) so if y'all need some help or possibly a roomate after next year definately let me know. And buy sooner than later, pricing is going up around here so it will be a good investment.
What major ya going into? And when ya coming down? Look forward to having ya hear man.

Haha, I'll be towing my jeep out, I'll have my own trailer by the time I get out there for good. Thats the one thing I have to buy this summer. Anyway, I'm a ME, and yea, I'd love to get out and have someone to wheel with while I'm at Tech. I'm stoked on getting in this year, I fucked up in high school and didn't really do good at all, but they let me in this time so its game on. A room mate would be very welcome, but like I said, they arent sure what they are gonna do yet so it's still up in the air. I know they would love to get a place and remodel it, cuz like you said the demand for housing is going up. I don't know when I'll be moving out that way, I imagine sometime mid August? I have to make the PBB Harlan run so it'll be sometime after that before I fully move in out there. Anyway, I'll be around and will keep ya'll updated. Take it easy.

You hear that Steingburg, new kid is calling you out. And he is probably right too, hook up the Ford to the JEEP. All hail Jeeps, especially those on fullwidths
And when have I been a bad influence? Not any times I can remember...

Yo, got a townhouse with some other guys in Maple Ridge, won't have the Jeep first semester but I'm gonna try and find somewhere I can stash it second semester. If anyone knows anywhere that I can park it on a trailer let me know.

Ahhh boooo. Bring that rig on down here. As far as a place to put a rig/trailer you should be able to get a second parking permit for your area, or just leave one on campus in a parking lot (people won't be as tempted to mess with it there). For a trailer you can rent a space in storage lots and leave it in the back. Nathan Walker in the club is doing this and I will try to get ahold of him and see where he keeps his for a price check for ya. Welcome to VT as well mang.

My parents aren't too keen on me taking my Jeep with me, and I can't really argue, they do pay for my school. So they want me to see what the load is like, but I ought to have it second semester. They wont let me park a vehicle in the parking lot w/o current inspection, and it doesn't go over 25 without gettting scary so the idea of putting the trailer one place and the jeep somewhere else won't work well, oh well.

Thats perfectly understandable. Granted if it was in the parking lot I'd be sitting next to it eye balling it over like any new rig in town, so its probably good it wont be around so I'll go to class. And I understand on the parents, I dont want to go agaist mine right now and build my Jeep, gotta figure out how to make good grades first. But have yourself a good summer man and we shall seeya soon. And come out and introduce yourself, Jeep or no Jeep.
