Anyone want a deuce in their yard?

Post by tsmall07 »

So I'm moving this weekend and still haven't been able to get tags on the deuce, although the paperwork has been submitted. I need to keep the deuce somewhere and the place I had planned on isn't working out. Does anyone have a place near Blacksburg where I could park the deuce for about 2 months? It would be fun if you have some land (you can drive it around whenever you want).

Let me know,

That's true. Where do they sell those? I'd like to get some legit ones rather than just spray painting some wood.

there is a catch with them though. Farm Use tags are not allowed on the interstate. It doesn't stop some people around here, but from what i understand the ticket is pretty hefty.

Unless I completely misunderstand how roads work, 460's not interstate, just 81.

I can never seem to find them at Tractor Supply, but Southern States in C'Burg definitely has them. If you can't find anyone to store it, I have 11 acres for you if you need it.

you're correct, but the fastest way to get to Laura's from Montgomery regional is to use the interstate (81), which is why I pointed out that issue.

Hmm..neat. Doesn't make a distinction between state highway and interstate though. Darned ambiguous laws.

the manager at tractor supply said the company they got them from went out of business and he can't find another supplier.

If you have 11 ac in c'burg, I might have to move it there.
