Here's a pic of her with the new lift. I'm pretty happy with it. I went with a cheaper rough country 4" lift. You definitely get what you pay for. The lift is not entirely complete. It came with a trac bar drop bracket which I don't like at all and has given me some slop/slight knock in the steering. I am going to switch to a JKS adjustable tracbar when I get the money for it. Also the short arm aren't adjustable, and it doesn't come with quick-disconnects. All things that need to be added in the future. Anyway, the ride is decent and I fit some 265/70/17s under there on the stock rims with no rubbing unless stuffed. So I can finally get back into some wheeling after selling my Tacoma.

Yeah i thought about doing that. I would want to be able to remove it without too much trouble though. You think just a few tack welds would hold the horizontal force from the front axle through a turn?

well, still keep the bolt but welding it would keep it from shifting

I've got the JKS bar on my XJ, I think I'd just put the money into the good trac bar. Better safe than sorry when it comes to steering.

Being at home and just working for two weeks can make you really bored. So I decided to take a few poser shots with my new camera I got for graduation. Not too shabby for a soccer mom jeep.
